BACKGROUND
the paradox of choice
As I finished up my second to last semester of college in December 2025, I wanted to take on a personal project. I realized that I kept going in circles, landing on an idea that felt good enough but then quickly second guessing. This led to multiple brainstorming sessions that amounted to nothing. Around this time, I also started journaling.
What I found was that I was experiencing choice paralysis, with the options of choosing a personal project seeming endless, I had no way of choosing one option. Out of frustration, I chose to design around this idea.

Along with designing the maze-inspired typeface, I iterated on different versions of this egg maze.
