Reviving A logo of the past for modern day usage

For this studio project, we were to find a "weird" logo from the early - mid 1900s to build a new brand identity around.

I found this logo in a book from our design library — specifically a book that showcased logos around the world from the 20th century.

Build a modern brand identity around FOX[BOX]'s logo.

CONSTRAINTS

  • Do not redesign the logo you’re reviving.

  • Determine any color usage patterns.

FOX[BOX] is an arts, design, and culture museum that reimagines works into 3D space.

DESIGN INTENT

Create a brand identity that uses 3D space as its primary asset.
